Audio and Visual Ministry

The Media Ministry oversees the audio and video media. It is charged with making recommendations for equipment repair and replacement.  The ministry is responsible for audio and video recordings of services and events and distribution of for members, visitors, and those members who cannot attend services at the Church.

 

BLOC Outreach Ministry (BRINGING LIGHT OUTSIDE the CHURCH)

The BLOC Outreach Ministry is comprised of servants of God who have truly accepted the call of reaching out. The role they play is to further the gospel by taking Redeeming Light outside of the church walls through community building projects and responding to service needs. Although diverse in age, gender, prayer styles, and communication techniques, the members of BLOC Outreach are driven by a united passion for spreading the good news and building Christ Kingdom.

 

Communications Ministry

The Communications Ministry assists the church in coordination of all internal and external communications. It works with all ministries to help clarify the communication objectives, identify the audiences and develop clear and conscience messages through the appropriate channels.  This includes the website, newsletters, Church bulletin boards, brochures and opportunities to publicly communicate Church events to the public.

 

Fine Arts Ministry

The Fine Arts ministry is comprised of purpose driven individuals who have been called to praise the Lord through dance, mime and acting. Christ is glorified when we are challenged to praise him with all of our talents and are moved by His spirit with our gifts.

 

Health and Fitness Ministry 

Health and Fitness Ministry is held periodically and include a variety of wellness topics: sharing healthy recipes, biblically-based nutrition, goal-setting for success, fresh start fitness and health & fitness

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is a body of Christians working for the Lord and building up His Kingdom. Intercessory Prayer is a call to service always making an effort to keep the spirit of the church uplifted and in prayer. They pray for the entire church, oversee prayer meetings and attend weekly prayer at the church 30 minutes prior to service times.  Through prayer, they promote opportunities of faith, service leadership and encouragement.

 

Marriage Ministry

The Marriage Ministry provides couples and those contemplating marriage, enriching opportunities for growth in their relationship and lifelong commitment. The ministry focuses on Biblical principles, fellowship, seminars, retreats and fun group activities.

 

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry seeks to meet the spiritual needs of the men in the church, community, workplace and home, through prayer and fellowship; to help men realize their spiritual gifts through consistent programs of Bible study. It challenges men to understand the need for being great male role models and witnesses for Christ.

 

Music Ministry

The music ministry consists of 3 worship teams and a host of musicians:  The Men Choir, The Youth Choir and the Praise Team.  The Music Ministry strives to serve God with excellence in song and to elevate the worship to a total praise environment that encourages, ministers and helps lead the unsaved to Christ.

 

New Friends Ministry

The New Friends Ministries are composed of dedicated and committed disciples who are passionate about the mission and vision of the church. The devoted members of this ministry are diverse in age and gender and have a united mission to reach out to visitors, retain new members and aid in their growth from membership to discipleship.

 

Nursery and Children Ministry

The Nursery and Children Ministry provides a nurturing environment for children beginning at 6 months to age 10 to fellowship and grow. They learn Christian values and identify personal strengths. Self-awareness, life skills and responsibilities to self and community are learned through games, activities and community service.

 

Ushers and Greeters Ministry

The Ushers and Greeters Ministry is composed of warm and dedicated individuals whose goal is to bridge the gap between the visitors of the church and the members of the Congregation. They accomplish this by meeting all those who enter are greeted with warmth and love. They are excited about meeting the needs of all those involved in worship service.

 

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry offers opportunities for women to grow spiritually serve faithfully and strengthen their love of Christ, the Church and one another. The ministry allows women to bond in sisterhood through activities that enrich their lives and the communities they reside in.

 

Young Adults

Encourages, fosters and channels the youth 18-20 and young adults in the areas of academic excellence, higher education and career exploration and development. Our goal is to mentor young adults and provide biblical solutions to real world experiences.

 

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry actively pursues the spiritual growth and maturity of middle and high school students by exploring and encouraging the use of spiritual gifts for the glory of God. By demonstrating Biblical responses to the many life challenges faced on any given day, they seek to equip and empower the next generation of Christian leaders to attempt great things for God by first engaging themselves in the process.
